Goruchel Frenin nef a llawr,
Ardderchog yw dy enw mawr;
  D'ogoniant drwy'r holl ddaear aeth,
  Ac uwch y nef dyrchafu wnaeth.

Fy ngolwg pan gyfodwyf draw,
I weled cywrain waith dy law;
  Y lloer a'r ser aneirif sy
  Yn harddu cylch yr wybren fry.

Pa beth yw dyn - abwydyn gwael! -
I gael fath brawf o'th gariad hael,
  A thrugareddau fyrdd o'r nef?
  O ryfedd fraint, coronaist ef!

Supreme King of heaven and earth,
Excellent is thy great name;
  Thy glory throughout the whole earth has gone,
  And above the heavens it has risen.

When I lift my view up yonder,
To see the intricate work of thy hand;
  The moon and the stars are innumerable
  Adorn the circle of the sky above.

What is man - a base worm! -
To get any kind of experience of thy generous love,
  And a myriad mercies from heaven?
  O wonderful privilege, thou didst crown him!
